Fresh Install Windows 7 Won't Update

I am beyond thrilled and so happy to report that windows is updating on its own.I too am saving this link for future reference. I was so lost. If not here is the link to give it a try. SP1 now installed!!

While Windows 7 still has extended support into 2020, Vista's extended support ends April 11th, 2017. You need to disconnect your internet, make sure your wireless is not set to automatically connect . Worked excellently for me too. It now offers SP1 and I have tried twice to install it but it loads all they way until 100% and then fails. This is my 4th clean install, driver updating and essential app installation and still Windows Update refuses to work. I was experiencing same problem installing SP1 as first descibed above. Have installed win7 many a time but this time I was stumped. Probably the best tutorial I've ever had to use…great job!!

Within about 10 minutes or less, you should have a huge list of KBs to download and install. your instructions were perfect. I've tried installing the latest Windows Update agent, this did not resolve the issue. Thank you!
