I have gone directly to Realtek and downloaded updated drivers. check over here Right-click on the name of your sound driver and click "Properties." It should say "The device is working properly." The computer can't read an audio device.. The only thing that worked for me was downgrading to previous Realtek driver, in Recover Manager. On the Advanced tab, under Default Format, change the setting, and then check your audio device. Expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

It will not find any drivers when I opt to and uninstalling them and rebooting does not resolve the issue either. If uninstalling driver doesn't work, try updating the driver. Your statement is invalid. Suspect it was the driver delete.
