Unmountable Boot Volume Windows 8 so I can get this repaired…i've been to the dell website and can't seem to find it. as im trying to perform the ckkdsk it stops at 50% = "one or more unrecoverable items". Nothing of note after running the chkdsk /r aside from one "error found, now recovering" type of message (i don't remember the exact terms).

chaz It took overnight to complete the check disk, but then fixed the mbr and rebooted to the same halt screen. When I try reinstalling it goes through the steps but does not work…it keeps rebooting. And it did!! weblink I am so confused and cant not wait to have this sent back to dell for them to fix …any suggestions?

I also ran the dell diagnostics and got an error, but I don't recall the code. fixed! His dad had his Home Edition, so they went to work on reinstalling; however, they didn't wait for me to tell them the next steps and reinstalled with out going into check over here Is there anyway to do this process without the cd?
