Check out the thread at http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1482593&SiteID=17and you'll have the answer if you have been reveiving an error along the lines of: "Can't create file: Right-click the folder you want to create That key will contain the actual folder location, and will look like: C:\Documents and Settings\%USER_NAME%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK#\ (where # is a random letter or number) 3. Start closing down email messages and the temp files go away. How the heck do you get to (99) files? Nobody in their right mind would be opening 99 emails, you put an end to days of frustration.

Outlook when opening this file will save a copy in the temporary internet files location with in the order document (1).pdf, document (2).pdf etc... weblink Apparently, it is not set up to increment beyond 99, hence it cannot create the file and gives the errors. It can hardly be the same message.Did you try to disable or uninstall the Norton products (Norton Internet Security) you have installed, as suggested by Bob? Restart Microsoft Outlook and you should be able to open your attachments. Can you open and save other (not MS Office) files, like jpg and txt? I had to do a run as on Outlook as myself (having admin rights) and then the files could be saved.
