It's working great now though.Thanks! IF I check the automatically detect settings , then my internet is not working. Before we begin: I'd definitely recommend keeping the firewall enabled at all times. Specifically, I use non-Microsoft firewall/antivirus/antimalware programs so I have disabled everything Vista recommends to leave on.
